Knight of Sveltarm

This is a paladin of Sveltarm, The Spider That Waits. In the Drow pantheon he is the god of warriors and of male servants of Lolth. D&D rules say that a paladin must be a law abidding and good person. Well it seems to me that a paladin in drow society would be considered evil by those on the surface, but would be "good" to the drow. Afterall a paladin is a righteous leader and warrior. Why not a one such a leader of an evil god? There are blackgaurds (a paladin that falls into evil) but this is not a blackgaurd, he is fanatically loyal to Sveltarm, Lolth and the drow ruling house. Just my thoughts though.
